Learning is for everyone, young and old.

Whether as a young child, through:

  • school
  • colleges and further education
  • through to adulthood
  • including learning new hobbies and interests

learning is part of a full and active life.

We provide education and care for nrusery children, and promote achievement through primary to secondary school.

This includes:

  • dealing with parent councils
  • additional support needs
  • reshaping of education provision in the future.

Opportunities for adults to continue learning are also available.

These include:

  • help with reading and writing
  • English for speakers of other languages
  • a variety of community based leisure classes with topics such as upholstery and art.

We live in an ever changing world where more skills are required than before. Within the next ten years there will be very few jobs that require no skills at all.

Training is the key factor to learning new skills and unleashing your own potential. If you take control of your own future by deciding to improve your skills, your chances of getting on at work, gaining a promotion, improving your career, starting your business, or even being paid a higher salary are within your reach.
