Bag it and Bin it
In Stirling we love our dogs. But we don’t love their poo, especially when it gets on our shoes or pram and bike wheels. So we want you to Bag It and Bin It – and keep Stirling safe.
Listen Up
Here’s our special You Tube film – have a look at how Granny and Thistle the dog do it!
We’re also getting our message across on Facebook, Twitter and the radio so get involved in the chat or give us a ‘Like’.
We’re Binning It
Bag your doggie’s do-dos and you can put them in any bin, even your grey one at home.
You can still put them in red dog poo bins, but we’ll be getting rid of them if there’s another litter bin nearby.
Post Your Pooch
If your top dog loves it when you bag it and bin it, post a picture of them on our Facebook page album, tweet us at @StirlingCouncil or email us. They’ll earn a limited edition ‘Bag It and Bin It’ name tag – all the smart dogs-about-town are wearing them this season.
Your Say
We listened when you told us in our most recent resident’s survey that dog poo is something that’s a constant problem.
We’re doing our bit by making sure everyone knows how important it is to pick up their dog’s poo. Dog owners who don’t bag it and bin it may be fined up to £60.If you find an area that is particulary bad for dog fouling, or see it happening, please contact us via the contact centre - 0845 277 7000
