SPIN/SOCITM Award
Stirling was one of 5 Councils who came joint 1s placet in SOCitms Scottish Website in 2009
The reasons given by the judges for Stirling’s website being best are:
- Most compelling user experience
- Easy access to information
- Good access for people with disabilities
- Consistent and clean design
- Easy search based on postcodes.
The award was presented at Hampden Park on 4 April 2006 to Yvonne Dickson, Stirling Council's Web Services Co-ordinator, and to Alastair Ogilvie, IT Manager.
The shortlist for the award included South Ayrshire, East Ayrshire, Fife and Clackmannanshire Councils.
