We administer common good funds for 4 former burghs that are now in the Stirling Council area. These common good funds are known as:

  • Bridge of Allan Common Good Fund
  • Callander Common Good Fund
  • Dunblane Common Good Fund
  • Stirling Common Good Fund

Organisations and groups can ask for financial support from a fund, as long as:

  • their application is about a project that will benefit people in a former burgh, or that will be equally accessible to them
  • they follow our application guidelines

We recommend that you submit your application as early as possible. You should also check our deadline dates for common good fund applications.

Before you begin

We'll ask:

  • which common good fund you want support from
  • for your name and the name of your organisation
  • for your contact details
  • how much you're requesting
  • whether you've received this kind of funding before
  • why you're making this request

We'll also ask you to upload:

  • your organisation's constitution and rules
  • your organisation's latest accounts
  • a statement about your organisation's current financial standing that's been certified by your treasurer
  • estimates or quotes

Community council consultation form

In some cases, you'll also be asked to upload a community council consultation form.

You'll be asked to do this if your application is about a project in:

  • Bridge of Allan
  • Callander
  • Dunblane
