Countryside Service
The Countryside Service manages a variety of sites, from countryside car parks to Plean Country Park and the Salmon fisheries on the Rivers Forth and Teith.
We manage access to the countryside for users of all types and abilities, help improve habitats and raise environmental awareness, provide a Countryside Ranger Service and give advice on a wide range of environmental issues, from bats in your belfry to walks in woodland.
The Countryside Service is part of Roads, Transport and Streetscape within Stirling Council and along with Planning services we form part of Environment Services
The Final Draft Striling Council Core Paths Plan was ratified on 13 March. The final 12 week round of statutory consultation will take place between Monday 21 April until Monday 14 July 2008. Revisit this website between these dates to view the Plan and make a comment.
