Performance, Resources and Waste enables the provision of appropriate and well planned financial, IT, HR and management support to Environment Services.

These critical support services underpin and influence the continuous improvement of the customer-focused culture of the Council and drive a consistent and coherent approach to service and resource planning as well as performance management, for all areas of the Service.

Additionally, Performance and Resources facilitates the efficient and effective delivery of the Councils catering and cleaning requirements, whilst the Waste Services team meets the legislative responsibilities and targets through the Forth Valley Area Waste Plan. These responsibilities will be achieved by continuing to implement a new waste collection service, which for the first time re-defines traditional refuse collection methods by engaging citizens in waste reduction, resource recovery and recycling.
