Indexes
On this page you will find links to some subjects and/or organisations, the records of which have been indexed to make searching them quicker and easier. These will be especially useful for family or local history purposes. Each set of indexes is preceded by some explanation of both the subject matter and the kinds of records which were created by the organisation or institution. Though currently only the Poor Law is dealt with here, the indexing work is ongoing and those for other subjects and record types will be added when completed.
