TERMS Rural Mentoring Project moves to a new phase
TERMS (Trossachs Enterprise & Rural Mentoring Scheme) recently appointed Jane Hutchings as its new Project Manager taking over from Alison Wilde. Jane brings a wealth of experience of working with local businesses from her previous role within Stirling Council’s Tourism team. Her knowledge of rural business and funding opportunities from an agency point of view will bring a new perspective to the project.
TERMS are investigating ways of engaging local businesses more regularly through the use of Enterprise Circles; these will be groups of similar types of business or businesses with similar needs who will meet regularly to gain peer group support but with the additional benefit of a mentor to coach them.
Other support formats operated by TERMS include enterprise visits to successful businesses, mentor training and discussion groups, business networking evenings and tailored training events. If you live in the Trossachs area and are interested in how TERMS might support your business, please contact Jane Hutchings on 07894 166674 or visit www.ruralmentoring.com .
