Norbord support local children
Norbord, the Cowie-based panel board manufacturer, donated £2,000 to enable Cowie Colts football teams to take part in an Easter football festival in Ayr.
The company, who are one of Stirling's largest private sector employers with more than 300 employees at their Cowie plant, are keen to invest something back into the local community.
Claire Stevenson, who has been coaching Cowie Colts Under 9s team for three years, said: "We would like to thank Norbord very much for its big-hearted and kind donation - without its help we may not have been able to enter in this competition and take the Colts to Ayr."
