Raploch Community Campus opens
Raploch's new state-of-the-art community campus opened for business in June
The lynch pin of the Raploch regeneration, the £17m campus includes three schools, a nursery, gym, library, bistro and Forth Valley College services. Work began on the project in 2006, with the first of the schools opening in February this year.
The onsite hairdresser's, beauty salon and bistro are staffed by Forth Valley College trainees, giving students the opportunity to gain valuable hands-on experience.
Current Chair of Raploch URC and Local Member, Councillor John Hendry said: "This is the first major milestone in the regeneration of Raploch. I am delighted that all the hard work by the community, Stirling Councillors and staff has resulted in a tremendous learning facility for the people of Raploch."
