Recently Stirling has welcomed various businesses and business start ups to commercial premises in the area, including:
Ben Shaws Scotland - A new business supplying draught soft drinks to the licensing and catering trade. Established in December 2007, the business is located at IMEX Business Centre in Stirling.
Biwater Treatment Ltd - A new regional head quarter for Biwater opened recently at Touch Business Centre. The company is involved in design and construction of water and wastewater treatment plants.
Heilan Coo Crafts - A new business aimed at the tourism market, specialising in the sale of Scottish crafts. The shop opened in April 2008 and is based in Broad Street.
Kilt Couture Ltd - A new business selling kilts and hiring formal wear. Kilt Couture took over from Cameron Classics in February this year and is located in Upper Craigs.
Phone Unlocker - A new business specialising in the sale, servicing and unlocking of mobile phones. The business began trading in March 2008 and is located in Murray Place.
PureDensity Ltd - A new business specialising in IT consultancy for small to medium sized businesses. The business was established in March 2008 and is based at Scion House, Stirling University Innovation Park.
Scottish Swimmers - A new business providing swimming instruction. The instructors started teaching in June 2008 and is based at Scion House, Stirling University Innovation Park.
Tickety Boo - A new business specialising in the sale of unusual gifts. The shop opened in June 2008 and is located in St Ninians.
