What's Happening
Multiscreen Cinema
Stirling’s blockbuster new cinema opened at Forthside January 2008. The eight-screener.run by vue entertainment, one of the uK’s largest multiplex cinema operators, the state-of-the-art 1100-seat cinema has two restaurants over two floors, with outdoor seating and a café bar area.
Residential Developments
The Gladedale Group (formerly known as Bett Homes Ltd.) are building 214 homes within three main areas: The Harbourside, The Crescent and The Square. The first phase of contemporary apartments are expected to be completed and ready for occupation by the end of 2007
Pedestrian Bridge
The new landmark bridge will provide access into the heart of Forthside. Designed by Wilkinson Eyre/Gifford & Partners, the team who completed the widely acclaimed Gateshead Millennium Bridge, funding will be met by Scottish Government and European Regional Development Funding.
