Licensing Application processing
Liquor Licences will be issued shortly after the Board Meeting unless the applications have been continued. The length of time from the last lodging date to the week after the Board is approximately six weeks.
Temporary Transfers of Liquor Licences will normally be processed within three weeks.
Occasional Extensions will normally be processed within two weeks.
Civic Licences will usually be processed within six to eight weeks. The legislation allows for a first consideration of the application within three months and a decision within six months.
General Licences will usually be issued within six to eight weeks where applicable.
