You can complete and print out your licence application and post it to

If the application has to be submitted by a certain date and you do not have as much time as you would like to ensure it meets the deadline, you can complete and save the document then it as an attatchment.

Applications that have been emailed must be followed up by post. A signed copy and payment should be sent to the Licensing Section as soon as possible after the email has been submitted.

The Licensing Section, process applications for various types of licences. These are mainly under the Licensing (Scotland) Act 1976 or the Civic Government (Scotland) Act 1982.
