Exemptions
The following types of vehicles are specifically exempted from the provisions of the Act:-
(a) vehicles used for a “to and from” journey hired outside the area of the District.
(b) vehicles while being used in connection with a funeral or wedding.
(c) vehicles hired for more than 24 hours on a contract basis.
