Medical Examination
It is the policy of the Council that all the applicants for Taxi or Private Hire Car Drivers' Licences, who are suffering from a disability or medical condition declared in the application form, are required to undergo a medical examination. These medical examinations should be carried out by the applicant's own General Practitioner with any cost to be borne by the applicant.
