The call for immediate action to tackle years of neglect in Scottish town centres has been made my The Association of Town Centre Management Scotland (ATCMS).  Issues were outlined at a special parliamentary briefing in November 2007.

Following on from this, a major conference on Town Centre Regeneration was held later the same month to promote a positive and proactive approach to town centre regeneration, development and manangement.
