Roads The area is at the hub of Scotland’s roads system with easy access to Glasgow (less than 30 miles) and Edinburgh (less than 40 miles) via the M80 and M9 motorways respectively. In addition, the area is well served by a network of bus services connecting Stirling’s main towns and villages and extending to other major centres of population in the Central Belt. |

Rail Stirling, Dunblane and Bridge of Allan are served by fast, frequent rail service with inter-city connections to Glasgow, Edinburgh, Dundee, Aberdeen and Inverness as well as the rest of the UK. The Stirling to Alloa rail link is planned to re-openin the future. |
