Corporate Procurement - Contracts
Corporate Procurement is responsible for the development of a policy and strategy for procurement, and the provision and development of a procurement service, strategic and operational, across Stirling Council.
The overall aim is to seek best value for money on all goods, services and works bought by Stirling Council and to continuously improve the procurement process to ensure best value from contracts awarded and to minimise the administration involved in making purchases.
The unit also strives to ensure that all procurement is open, transparent and accountable by complying with EU Public Procurement Directives, to the Council's own Contract Standing Orders and to procurement best practice.
