Rail

Stirling, Dunblane and Bridge of Allan are served by fast, frequent rail service with inter-city connections to Glasgow, Edinburgh, Dundee, Aberdeen and Inverness as well as the rest of the UK. The Stirling to Alloa rail link is now open.

Air

Stirling’s accessibility to global markets is enhanced by its proximity to both Glasgow and Edinburgh International airports (both approximately 35 miles away).

Ports

Stirling has easy access by road and rail to one of the country’s leading container ports at Grangemouth,15 miles from Stirling. In addition, a freight and passenger ferry service operates from Rosyth port (25 miles from Stirling) to Zeebrugge.

Bus

Stirling’s award-winning, fully accessible bus station handles more than 4,000 bus departures per week.

Cycle

There are national cycle routes across the area with links from Stirling, Bridge of Allan and Dunblane
