Regeneration
Raploch Regeneration
Stirling's multi-million pound regeneration scheme for the Raploch community is well underway. The aim is to improve the quality of life for all local people.
Regenerating communities
Stirling Council is committed to regenerating communities and giving local people the best possible quality of life.
We have:
- Led the successful Cultenhove for Change initiative
- Initiated the regeneration of Back O’Hill industrial estate
- Supported Community Futures projects in four rural communities
- Continued our innovative Raploch Regeneration, a multi-million pound scheme designed to improve the quality of life for local people involving 700-1,000 new houses, new community facilities and two replacement primary schools, new access to the riverside and a Health Hub
- Supported the Rural Stirling Economic Partnership
- Seen 24 sports programmes organised throughout the Stirling Regeneration areas attract close to 1,200 adults and 700 children
