Help and Support

If you are affected by antisocial behaviour there is help and support available from a number of sources, there are also some things you may be able to do to help the situation.

You may want to:

  • try talking to the individuals about it to see if you can sort out the situation between you?

  • keep a diary of incidents by writing down what happened where and when.

  • keep a note of the names and addresses of the people causing antisocial behaviour.

  • contact the appropriate service or agency for advice or assistance.

If it’s an emergency situation and you feel your or someone else’s safety is threatened phone 999 and ask for the Police.  If you want to speak to the Police but it’s not an emergency you can phone the Police Service Centre on 01786 456000.

Otherwise contact the service you would normally deal with.  For example, Environment Services about fly tipping etc., or your Local Housing Office with a tenant issue.
