All of the above are available 24 hours a day each day of the year (hence there is no seperate out of hours emergency number)

The best time to phone the council for routine enquiries is late morning or early afternoon.  The really busy periods tend to be Monday mornings, late afternoons and early evenings (every day) Although we do our best to provide more staff at these times, the demand is sometimes very high indeed.
