I’m a retired Senior Lecturer in Electrical Engineering and Health & Safety at Forth Valley College, Falkirk where I taught for over 25 years.  

A founder Director/Convener of St. Ninians Community Development Trust I also served on Broomridge Community Council for over 10 years. As well as holding the position of Chair I was also Planning Officer for a time.

I have a keen interest in football having refereed for over 15 years, my pinnacle being a linesman in a 1981 World Cup-Tie between Holland and Belgium.

Prior to becoming a Councillor I was a keen bowler, being a member of Causewayhead Bowling Club and Stirling Indoor Bowling Club.
