Politics has always been a passion of mine. It started at secondary school, Scottish history was not taught nor the social and economic development of Scotland. I took it upon myself to find out and was privileged in having met with Dr Robert MacIntyre, at that time the SNP Provost of Stirling, whose words of wisdom led me into politics.  

My beliefs are left of centre in political terms, I seek social justice. I believe in the rights of the individual within the concept of community. I also have a deep passion for Stirling Town, its people, its history and its future.
