Pupil Council

All our secondary schools, and many primary schools, have pupil councils.

These are made up of pupil representatives and seek the views and opinions of children and young people.

Pupils are encouraged to organise their own meetings and agendas.

Two elected representatives from each secondary school can also take part in our Student Forum.

They hold an annual conference and also liaise with the Youth Congress.

Two student representatives are elected to the Children’s Committee.
