Local Government Boundary Commission for Scotland
NEW MULTI-MEMBER COUNCIL WARDS
The local council elections on 3 May 2007 will elect councillors in 7 new multi-member wards. There will now be six wards with 3 councillors each and one with 4 councillors. So instead of having one local councillor you’ll have several, who may represent different political parties.
You can choose to get in touch with any or all of the councillors in your new ward if you have an issue, query or problem you’d like to discuss.
The new wards are:
- Ward 1 – Trossachs and Teith – 3 councillors
- Ward 2 – Forth and Endrick – 3 councillors
- Ward 3 – Dunblane and Bridge of Allan – 4 councillors
- Ward 4 - Castle - 3 councillors
- Ward 5 - Stirling West - 3 councillors
- Ward 6 - Stirling East - 3 councillors
- Ward 7 - Bannockburn - 3 councillors
