One of the many outcomes of community planning is the publication of a local Joint Health Improvement Plan. In Stirling the Stirling Community Planning Partnership Health and Well-being Functional Group has responsibility for this task.
This Joint Health Improvement Plan for Stirling Working Together for a Healthier Stirling has 3 main purpose: -
1. To raise awareness of the many factors that can determine the health of local populations
2. To make reference to the (inter) national and local policies, strategies and planning processes that respond to these factors
3. To list the actions that local partner agencies will take forward in the first year of the Joint Health Improvement Plan in response to national and local needs and priorities.
