For four weeks the gallery was a creative laboratory for artists from Stirling and the surrounding area. Each week three artists used the gallery to make and present work or experiment with new ideas. It gave the artists the chance to work on projects at a larger scale than usual or to engage the public directly in their work.

The project was enhanced by a series of professional development opportunities for the artists, such as a guest mentor visiting the exhibition each week, and a 'Code of Practice in the Visual Arts' event held by a-n (The Artists Information Company). The project offered an intense, exciting showcase for the arts scene in the local area as well as extending connections and networks between artists.
