Local Action

Some examples of action that has come out of the Stirling Biodiversity Action plan are:

- 130 swift boxes distributed to residents of Stirling, 9 of these have been mounted on Viewforth itself.

- 100’s of packets of wildflower seeds given as part of Stirling Council’s lightbulb amnesty.

- The presence of nightjar in the Queen Elizabeth Forest Park confirmed in 2002.

- New grasscutting regime trialled at Viewforth since 2001.

And lots more to come...
