New Routes
Will new routes still be considered after core paths are chosen and can they become core paths?
Yes, the Council will still look at developing new routes and improvements to access within the Stirling Council area and to support communities in any access improvements they would like to make. However resources, as always, will be the deciding factor.
If a particular route is not designated as a core path during the present core path planning process, this does not stop it from becoming a core path at some future date. The core path plan must be reviewed and any suggested additional core paths would go through a public consultation process, similar to this, during that review.
