Screening
The Countryside Service has undertaken the screening stage of the SEA process for the Stirling Council Core Paths Plan and has submitted it to the Consultation Authorities for their views. This stage provides an initial view of the plan to assess whether a full SEA is required or not.
It is the Council's view that an SEA is not required. The Consultation Authorities' comments have now been received and the majority disagree and believe that an SEA is required.
