The Final Draft Core Paths Plan
The Final Draft Stirling Council Core Paths Plan was ratified by Stirling Council on 13 March 2008. The Land Reform (Scotland) Act 2003 states that the Plan must be subjected to a final 12 week round of statutory public consultation.
The final statutory 12 week consultation took place between Monday 21 April and Monday 14 July 2008.
Comments received after Monday 14 July will not be counted.
The Final Draft Stirling Council Core Paths Plan including maps and a list of all paths is available to view at Stirling Council libraries (including mobile libraries), local offices and Stirling auction marts.
What happens next?
All comments and formal objections have now been received.
Over the next 12 weeks, the Council will try and resolve any formal objections that have been made to the Plan.
If all formal objections are resolved, the Plan can go ahead to the adoption stage
If one or more formal objections can not be resolved, the Plan will be subject to a Local Inquiry. The Plan cannot be adopted until the Local Inquiry has been decided by the Scottish Government.
