Countryside Events

We hope our countryside events help you to enjoy the wonderful countryside around Stirling.  The What’s On Outdoors 2008 brochure has a whole range of countryside events for people of all ages and abilities to enjoy the outdoors.

These events are great ways to discover nature, explore new areas and enjoy the health benefits of being out in the countryside.  And all our events are FREE!

What’s On also includes Countryside Action Days - opportunities to volunteer for the day, get some gentle exercise outside and give something back to the environment. Also listed are a series of drop-in open meetings on the final version of the Core Path Plan for the Stirling Council area.  Come along to have your say on this or other access issues you may have.

Please note for all our events including countryside action days, children are welcome but MUST be supervised by an adult at all times.

Also inside this booklet is more information on our services and countryside sites and we hope it helps you to get out and enjoy yourselves!
