Personal statement/experience: I have been involved in DofE activities for 50years, liasing with land managers over access and camping. I am a national trainer for the Award in Mountain Safety and Group Management. In addition to the work I have done with young people I have led 60+ groups for Falkirk Council and Forth Valley Health Board. I also co-ordinate volunteers from Cambusbarron on footpath development and conservation issues.
