  • All agencies issue both Day and Season permits. Two passport sized photographs are required for season permits and proof of address. A completed application form, with documentary proof, will be required for all concession permits. Proof of address is also required for Day Permits. Blank application forms for concession permits can be obtained from any Stirling Council Going Local Office.
  • Please Note - All concessionary permits will require an application form to be completed and taken, with documentary evidence, to any Stirling Council Going Local office together with two passport sized photographs and proff of address. A verified form can then be taken to any of the permit agencies, or the Municipal Buildings, where permits will be issued. The person using the permit must be present for both verification and for the permit to be issued. There will be no refunds once a permit has been issued. Only one season permit is allowed for each river. For the 2008 season there is a limit of two salmon for Day permits and five for Season permits. There is also a catch limit of 2 sea trout per day for all permits. Salmon have to be tagged before they can be taken off the fishery. Tags will be issued with season permits and are not transferable.
  • Lost or stolen permits can be replaced at a cost of £10 per adult and £2 per juvenile.
