With over 100 mostly long established public play areas the implementation of the play landscape approach is inevitably gradual. However, we are steadily increasing numbers of play area sites to look at including

- Causewayhead Park;
- Provost's Park Gargunnock.

Stirling’s blockbuster new cinema opened at Forthside January 2008. The eight-screener.run by vue entertainment, one of the uK’s largest multiplex cinema operators, the state-of-the-art 1100-seat cinema has two restaurants over two floors, with outdoor seating and a café bar area.
Find out whats happening on the Superbus
The Superbus is a converted double decker bus which supports the play programmes and also visits nurseries, playgroups and other organisations. It's enjoyed by children aged 2-12, and can accommodate 16 children at a time.
Play programmes operate all over the council area in community centres, schools, village halls etc as well as in parks, play areas and school grounds. We use our vans, Supberbus, marquees, vast range of equipment and materials and most importantly our skilled playworkers to take play wherever children and their carers might be. We also involve artists, crafts people, dancers, musicians, storytellers and gardeners in our various events and activities.
