We have 16 libraries and 2 mobile libraries, serve an area of some 850 square miles and a population of over 85,000.
Last year we issued:
- over 545,000 adult books
- over 213,000 junior books
- over 95,000 audio-visual items
Last year we received:
- over 12,000 requests
- over 30,000 enquiries
- over 36,000 bookings for computer sessions
Over 690,000 visits were made to our libraries last year. Our customers can choose from a stock of:
- over 220,000 adult books
- 100,000 junior books
- 15,000 audio items
- 11,000 books on tape
- 7,000 videos and DVDs
