Our approach to public play spaces has attracted national interest and the service has achieved a number of awards:
Architecture and Design for Young Children, International Award 2005 Darnley Park, Stirling.
Royal Society for Prevention of Accidents - Gold Play Quality Operator Award fro the quality of the maintenance of the council's children's play areas 2005.
Children and Young People's Services Award 2006 - The Play and Social Development Award category.
