Design and evaluation
The design process is vital. Each project has a project design team which includes a play space designer, landscape architect and Play Services staff. (Individual artists, crafts people and horticulturists may also be co-opted into the team).
Depending on the particular project, members of the local community will be involved to a greater or lesser degree.
Observation and evaluation occurs.
Evaluation of individual projects feeds into and guides future play area provision.
