Play Programmes

We organise holiday play programmes in the October, Easter and Summer holidays, as well as various year round programmes, events and activities.

Play programmes operate all over the council area in community centres, schools, village halls etc as well as in parks, play areas and school grounds.  We use our vans, Supberbus, marquees, vast range of equipment and materials and most importantly our skilled playworkers to take play wherever children and their carers might be.  We also involve artists, crafts people, dancers, musicians, storytellers and gardeners in our various events and activities.

Play programmes include play projects for children aged 5-12, which can be booked in advance.  There are also play in the park programmes and community events and workshops for people of all ages, though children under 8 must be accompanied.  

Finally, there is the Superbus programme.
