Fees for your marriage

For all Religious Marriages:

  • £26.00 for each Marriage Notice Form (Form M10).
  • £8.50 Marriage certificate

Basic Fees for all Civil Marriages:

  • £26.00 for each Marriage Notice Form (Form M10).
  • £8.50 Marriage certificate fee
  • £46.50 Civil Marriage Fee

In addition, if you are having a Civil Marriage, depending on where and when your civil marriage is taking place, some of the following fees may also apply:

Provisional Marriage Booking Fee

  • date within 6 months of booking...................£15.00
  • date 6 & 12 months from date of booking.....£20.00
  • date over 12 months from date of booking....£25.00

Accommodation fee at Stirling

  • Castle Chamber - capacity up to 24 people........…….................N/A
  • King’sKnot Suite - capacity up to 50 people.....….…………...…£65.00
  • Municipal Council Chambers - capacity up to 80 people……...£160.00

Civil Marriage at registration office on:

Civil Marriage at Permanent approved venue:

Cheques / postal orders should be made payable to ‘Stirling Council’.  Payment by Debit or Credit Card can also be accepted at most offices.
