Employability Service

Stirling Council's Employability Service helps people overcome different kinds of barriers to getting a job and being able to lead an independant life.

The Service came together in June 2007, incorporating a range of employability projects such as Employment Connections, Employability Stirling, Well Connected and Joblink.

We give advice, guidance and organise assessments, training, work experience and employment opportunities.  Everything is focused on the individual needs of our clients.  Many of the people we work with have disabilities, learning difficulties, mental health problems or other health-related conditions.

We're a Stirling based team, working closely with employers and other partners including Jobcentre Plus and NHS Forth Valley.

Our Employability Toolkit is a great starting point. It's been designed to support clients through registration, assessment, training and work experience.  The support to our clients continues when they enter employment.
