Family history is a growing area of interest, and you'll find useful material available in all our libraries.
Old Parish Registers for the Stirling Council area, giving details of births and marriages registered up to 1854, are available in Central Library.
The International Genealogical Index (IGI) which contains over 200 million name entries of births or baptisms and marriages over 300 years up to the 1870's is held on CD ROM in Central, Dunblane, Drymen, St.Ninian's and Bridge of Allan Libraries
