Reclaiming Dogs

By law, stray dogs which have been taken to the kennels may be re-claimed by their owners within 7 days.

After the seventh day, the dog becomes the property of Stirling Council who will attempt to find it a new home.

NB - In order to prevent fraudulent claims, dogs will only be handed over to owners with proof of identity such as a driving license, passport, credit card etc.
