Housing Improvements

Stirling Council's annual budget for home improvements is £5.4m. This is separate from the day to day repairs and programmed maintenance. It is often called the Capital Programme. The funds come from:

* the funds the Scottish Government allow us to borrow;

* the 25% of the receipts from houses bought under the right to buy and from any other sales of land etc; and

* funding directly from the rent tenants pay (which is called Capital Funded from Current Revenue or CFCR).

Every tenant has been sent a Guide to "The Housing Improvement Programme".

If you have any queries contact your local housing team or email: for any enquiries. Lesley Wilson
