Local housing strategy
The Housing (Scotland) Act 2001, places a legal duty on every local authority to produce a Local Housing Strategy (LHS). The first LHS for Stirling covered the period 2004 to 2009 and is available as one of the LHS supporting documents (see below).
Work is presently underway to develop the Stirling Local Housing Strategy which will cover the period 2010 – 2015. The main forum for partnership working on the development of the strategy will be the Strategic Housing Forum. Documents relating to the development of the Strategy will be posted as they become available.
