Local Housing Strategy preparation -- Current Status Update

RESEARCH:

We have commissioned a number of studies to provide us with quality information which will allow an analysis of  the housing system and key issues at a local level.  There are:

1.  Housing Needs Study                                      complete

2.  Private Sector House Condition Survey              end Nov

3. Regeneration Options Study                              Complete

4. Community Care Housing Needs Assessment -  Brief being prepared.

THE STRATEGY FRAMEWORK:

The framework document is under preparation.    Many of the key topic areas will require an  option appraisal exercise, with our partners to help us identify priorities for action.
