Inventory
At the start of the tenancy you should take a comprehensive inventory of everything in the property including decor, fixtures and fittings.
You should note the condition of:
- carpets
- flooring
- wallpaper
- curtains and blinds.
It is advisable to take photographs before the tenancy starts to aviod disagreements at the end of the tenancy.
Yourself and your tenant should both check, agree and sign the inventory and retain a copy.
