The following strategies and plans guide economic development in the Stirling Council area:Single Outcome Agreement between Stirling Council and the Scottish Government - In support of the new working relationship with the Scottish Government established by the concordat of November 2007, Stirling Council has developed a Single Outcome Agreement that sets out agreed outcomes for the local area and how these contribute to national objectives.
Shaping Stirling: Strategic Plan 2008-2012 - Shaping Stirling is Stirling Council's Strategic Plan for 2008-2012. It is closely aligned with the Single Outcome Agreement and describes the actions needed to achieve the outcomes agreed.
